There is one option in Catia where you can cut a body along a line or plane, and see one half, and when you move the cutting line/plane up or down, the cut section grows or diminishes. I hve used this b4, but can't remember how to turn it on. Can somebody please help, Thanks

There are two features that we use here. One on the part level and one in product. For any product, check to see if you have the "Space Analysis" tool bar. The icon is labelled "Sectioning".
On the part level, there is another feature located in the "Dynamic Sectioning" toolbar.
