Hi all I'm new here I've been operating and programming lasers for about 20 years now, but I am stumped. We cut mostly A-36 steel for auto industry equipment so we do not do a lot of fine detail work. I have been asked to make a fairly intricate sign and my parameters are not doing so well. I was wondering if someone could tell me what settings they use for a base to work from. I have a Bystar 3015 6k machine we usually cut with oxygen but also have nitrogen on site. I think the fine detail of this part would cut better with nitrogen but my settings are way off. Thanks in advance.

do you have any 16 ga N2 params that work? for stainless or galvanized? try those. can you post a pic of the bad part?

Thank you I made up a set of my own that worked pretty good.
