Custom mouse cursor settings

I am setting up a screen recorded training video, I would like to highlight the cursor when I click. I have seen this done before but I cannot find the drivers/program that I need to enable this.

I am using MS Intellimouse driver, the only option I find is to highlight the cursor when pressing control key.

Any thoughts?

Depending on how long the video is supposed to be, the easiest thing might be to just press the control key immediately before clicking while you're recording the video.
