Hello, I need to amplify a current and a voltage signal from my D/A card (20mA AC, 10Volts AC respectibly) to input on a controller, what I need to get are AC signals of 5Amps and 120Volts respectibly. I need to know which equipment I need to do this. Could YOu advice me about a vendor for this type of equipment? Any cooment woul be helpfull

Thank You in advance.

The amplifier can be described by the equation
Vout= K1*Vin + K0, the 3dB frequency and the load impedance. K1,K0,F0, and Zload are the absolutelly necessary data for intelligent answer.

How many do you need?

Depending on exactly what you need, an audio power amplifier might be the most cost effective solution. If you can give us more details, we could improve the recomendations.

A public address amplifier with a nominal "100 volt line" output might do the job, but a 600 Watt continuous output is fair bit of power. It might require something rated at over 1Kw to withstand a continuous single tone output for any length of time.

Two things to be aware of. The output transformer might not be able to supply full rated power at either very high or very low audio frequencies, and the amplifier heatsinks and power supply must be continuously rated.

For normal peaky human speech none of that is a problem, but for continuous sinewave full load power, a lot of commercial PA amplifiers probably will just not be up to it. Check the specifications with the supplier very carefully, but you might be able find something.

Hi, tahnk You for your answer, I apologize for this late answer but I was overseas because of my job.

Regarding the amplifier, I will investiate the load of the equipment and let you know what is it. I have consider audio power amplifiers. Let me axplain You a little better waht I need to do.

I simulate an electrical source in my PC, I have a Digital to Anaolog converter connected to it, this DAC card outputs singnal in the range of +-10V. SO I convert 3 digtaly simulated voltage signals to +-10V but I need to inject this 3 signals to a equipment that needs 115Vrms phase - phase connected to its terminal so, I need an amplifier that elevates this +-10V signal to +-100V per channel, here i dont mind for the current of the signal I just need to amplify this voltage. But then I need to amplify 3 current signals that again I digitaly simulate and then convert them with thhe DAC card. In here I can get 3 20mAmp signals and need to amplify this to 5Amp signals. Or I can get this current as equivalent voltage signals and amplify this, then by means of Voltage/Current transducer obtain 3 5Amp equivalent signals.

I hope this help me clarufy my needs and get a satisfactory answer or comments fro your part.

Thank You in advance for your help.

Best Regards, Maziel
