Has anyone taken the Advanced COSMOSWorks Designer Specialist Exam yet? Any thoughts? I went through the practice exam and it seems pretty straight forward. My only complaint is that I have the exact specs they quote in the sample exam on my computer and the simulations take about 3-4 minutes each to run instead of the quoted 2-3.

I've taken it twice, sadly enough it has kicked my...engineering ability, twice. Gonna regroup, focus and practice a little more, then come back at it again one last time.

Well, I took the test this afternoon and as you said "kicked my...engineering ability". I just started the tutorials for the software a few days ago, but they and the sample test seemed easy, so I went for it. Like you, I'll devote some more time to it, regroup, and try again.

I felt that 1 of the basic engineering questions was poorly worded and I wasn't sure what exactly they were looking for.

I thought the basic engineering questions were worded well enough. I don't think I should have been tested on it, as it wasn't a test of my ability to manually calc those numbers. I thought the actual COSMOS questions were ambiguous and poorly worded. Oh well, I'll just have to try again.

I took it twice. The first one was a coupon offer and I barely missed. I passed the second time around. If you practice the stuff you struggled on the first time, you should do fine.
