hello,
Is there any way in safe to define sections in the slab and get reduced total force on the sections?

What about the design strips? A design strip is just a series of sections along its longitudinal axis.

What do you mean by "reduced total force on the sections"? Can you please be more specific?

If you model a slab as a plate and solve it using a finite element model, you receive the linear elastic bending moments and shear forces and must design for those. It is not possible to "reduce force" in structural members by fiddling around with software - the internal forces are what they are.

@centondollar.usually in where I live we do manual calculation to design for one way and two way shear.even if the analysis is done on FEM software.so we take for example reactions from the software then we use them manually to determine punching design.same for one way shear.so i needed the shear force for one way shear in total on a section.
