I am trying to create a thread in a nut by trying to combine a bolt I created and a smooth "well" and subtracting. I am using the well as the main body and the bolt as the body to be combined.
I have successfully created a nut and bolt with threads before by using this technique, but for some reason it won't work now.
Any help would be appreciative.
