I want to save PDF's from Pro/E Wildfire2. Also is there a way to convert HPGL2 or Postscripts to PDF'S directly? We have traditionally saved polt files for rev history and I would like to create PFD's from them.

Thanks,
KTG

You can also use adobe distiller to convert Postscripts to PDF files. But 995 is free

Adobe Distiller is the easiest way to convers PS files to PDFs directly.

In WF2, you can set the config.pro option adobe_distiller to the location of your Adobe Distiller executable (mine is C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\Distillr\acrodist.exe), and you will be able to create PDFs directly.

Once you've done this, go into Tools-->Customize Screen and add the 'Save as PDF' button to an appropriate location in your toolbars.

Are there additional controls like printer .pcf files for the acrobat_distiller function? We normally make all pfd files 11x17 regardless of the original size of the drawing. We also append the revision number to the file name. The 'Save as PDF' button doesn't let me do any of these things.
