I am used to using ordinate dimensioning. I have a very hot modification I need to do to a drawing that requires that I jog one of the regular dimension lines.

is this possible in nx7.5? i can't seem to find it.

thanks

I don't have NX 7.5 handy, but you should be able to add a dogleg to the dimension, by selecting it, right click Style, and then the ordinate tab.

Gunman - Thanks but it is not an ordinate dimension. This is a regular dimension that needs one end to be doglegged.

I'm not aware of any way to add a dogleg to a non-ordinate dimension. If space is tight there are options for 'narrow' dimensions or you can change the 'F' parameter to angle the dim out of the way. Would either of these options be of help?

Included below is an image of what these narrow-angled dims cowski mentioned would look like:

thanks john and cowski - never even heard the term "narrow dimension" before. I went a different route but will remember this for next time. thanks again!
