Anyone else had this problem. Everytime I try to access the helix feature or edit feature in an existing spring the thing crashes with the runtime error R6025 Pure Virtual Function Call ?
Thanks

What version of SolidWorks and system specs do you have? Maybe a graphics problem (card really matters) or perhaps hitting a RAM ceiling or something similar.

Reason trumps all. And awe transcends reason.

Check the SW KB. There is a number of issues with that error message and some of the articles have fixes for them... one of the popular ones was update to the latest SP.

I had this same problem with SW crashing every time I tried to creata a helix. I found the following solution. (works with SW2007 as well)

When creating a sketch in a new drawing, invoking the helix command crashes SW 2006.

1.) Close all Solidworks applications.
2.) Go to the Start menu - Run..
3.) Type in cmd (this will get you to the command prompt)
4.) Type in “regsvr32 msflxgrd.ocx” without the quotes.
5.) You should get a dialog saying that the above file was successful.

The Helix command should now work.
