crane boom rest

Hello All,

I had to design a boom rest for a crane on a hull structure. I am looking for some guidelines. Can anyone please help..

I'm afraid you'll have to be more specific on these forums to solicit a response that will be considered useful, from both the OP and responders viewpoint.

This is a very broad question, and is likely to attract the usual 'get an expert to do it' response, as the original start point is unclear.
