I just wonder what to expect to pay for a single licence, I am considering byuing a Flex Adv.

Thanks for your attention

A basic (foundation Advantage) in UK is

Yes, it's $20K for Flex3 and ~$12K for Flex Adv, and not sure what they told me for lowest. The difference is only one module (Adv ASSY) from lowestr to a middle one, huge cost difference.

Wait for a 1/2 price promotional special. They frequently have deals where you buy Foundation at list price and the additions are 1/2 price. Typically around the end of a quarter or fiscal year. Make sure to bargain on maintenance too, otherwise they will try to soak you for 15% of the list price.

A Flex3C license is in the neighborhood of $20,000 but a Foundation Advantage license is $4,995 plus they're giving away a free module right now. It's really a pretty good deal.

I haven't priced a Flex Adv so I'm not sure on that one.

I'll be purchasing a license within a few weeks to take advantage of the deal. It's only for new customers.

I believe they're running a 50% off deal on ISDX for existing customers but if you're a new customer you can pick up that license for free!

You will have to remember you're also looking at $1,500 for maintenance on the Foundation Advantage and another $900 or so for the "free" module.

I recently purchased a license for WF3 Foundation Advantage including the Structural and Thermal Option (integrated Mechanica "light") for 55500 SEK, which is

I got foundation with advanced assembly for $6250 (mainatnce included)

Foundation advantage is $6000

Advance Assembly Module is $6000

Flex3C is $20000

Are you quoting Canadian dollars? $6,000 for FA is not correct.

Last week I bought a seat of Foundation Advantage for $4,995 plus I got a free module because I was a new customer (I chose Mechanica).

Maintenance for one year was $2,000 + $900 for the seat of Mechanica.

I was able to get a discount on both the software and the maintenance from my reseller because I had known him for awhile and he was the reseller at my previous place of employment.

I ended up with the FA seat with Mechanica and one year's maintenance for under $7,000. I'm not saying everyone can do that but that is the current deal I was able to get right now.

The quarter ends June 30 so the free module may go away very shortly. Also, the free module was for new customers only.

hallo ,
Ihave another question : it is possible to rent a license just for a short period (2 max 3 months).

thanks

Geneg,

Check again, the difference is more than just the Adv. Assy. license. You also get a license to Intralink or PDMlink, Pro/Piping. RSD Lite, Pro/Cable and a few other minor modules.

Negotiate hard and long, contact different suppliers, check out the offers. This was the total about 3 years ago.. (korting means reduction)

I dont think renting is legal, but many agencies over here rent out a cad guy with workstation and pro. Average cost for the station+pro is about 1400
