I have Cosmosworks, have not been trained yet, but I was playing with it using a simple flat stock spring. I modeled a piece of .030 thick blue temper x 1/8 wide and 3/4 long with a slight raised round pad on both ends for cosmos. I restrained one end on the pad I want to tell cosmosworks to deflect the opposite pad by .050 and have it tell me what force it will generate. Then I will simply increase the material thickness until I get the force I'm looking for. Is this possible?
thanks,
Tom
