Hi,
I have a little problem while i'm setting up my simulation.

See the file for a picture.

The middle part is a surface where i want to know the min thickness of it, on the 2 sides of it, there is a solid ring. The ring is solid there i already know the needed thickness.

Know, when i set up the simulation, i have to define the edge of the surface, but also the two surfaces of the rings. But i have 1 force in total over the part, so when i choose for total, en define the edges en surfaces, the option for 'total' dissapears.

Does someone know how to solve the problem or what i have to do to make it right?

Thx in advance!

Not quite clear on what this is. Maybe if you provide some more background on what the component is and why you are analysing it you might get better answers. For now, I'm a bit confused why you would want a single force applied over both a surface and a curve.
