Hi,

We are currently researching effective materials for the mitigation and remediation of Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI). In the process we have come across two innovative materials called Nansulate (TM) and Hot Pipe Coating (HPC) both of which are applied as coatings and are said to be next-to-none in terms of remedying and mitigating CUI.

Unfortuantely most of the infomation on the two materials are by the manufacturers and it appears to be too good to be true...more sales based, please check the following:

Has anyone had any field experience with the two materials and if so would you comment on their effectiveness compared to normally used insulation materials like calcium silicate?

Please ignore my thread on corrosion under insulation...the Nasulate material is still under development for the particular use I am investigating and I have already managed to gather further/ more information on HPC than I had before the posting
