Dear all,

We purchased a non-pressure part CS container which sit at site for more than an year until recently installed. It was found severe corrosion on the container floor, which is 1/4" thick SA-36.
The guessing of the cause could be desiccant bags. What will be the method to restore the floor ?

If the floor is still structurally sound a sand blast and epoxy coating will prevent further damage.

Blast clean the floor, then weld build up the pits.

Site performed cleaning, and thickness was taken on more than 20 locations and found between 0.2"-0.25" Supplier states it has no issue for operation, so no further action. Thanks for your all opinions.
