the pipeline is recieving a constant dosing rate of Corrosion inhibitor , the production team are requiring to reduce the flow pressure , is there any necessity to change the CI dosing rate ?

It depends on what basis the dosing rate has been established and whether that basis is altered by the reduction in system pressure.

The corrosion inhibitor feed rate should be proportional to flow.

If the CI feed pump is constant speed, you may dilute the mixture to reduce the CI rate of flow.

Typically yes, the corrosion inhibitor is probably calculated to production rate, or in turn the amount of water being transported down the line
