Copying Files

Hello eveyone
I've made a program to copy files from one location to another and it works well. How ever i have to type in a name and extension for the new file. how can i set it so it uses the old name. also how would i get the windows copying window to pop up.

Use the CommonDialog control from Menu|Project|Components|Controls. There is a fully worked example in your VBHelp files. There is also a summary at:

The easiest way is to use the common dialog custom control (it's all in the VB help menu), but you can make direct calls to cmdlg32.dll too if you wanted.
