I am looking for an adhesive or bonding compound for bonding copper plates together. The adhesive must withstand temperatures in the 250 degree range. Thanks

Is silver soldering acceptable? Also, you didn't say if it is 250 °F or 250 °C.

Well if it wasn't for the fact that the material is copper, I would suggest RTV. Unfortunately RTV (up to 500 - 600F) is from the silicone family. It will free acetic acid as it cures and corrode the copper. If it is 250C you cannot use an organic compound and are limited to the inorganics. I'm going to side with the first two gentlemen.
