I polymerize acrylic acid in the presence of sodium methylallyl sulfonate and PA (high molecular weight ester) and I use hydrogen peroxide as initiator, but in the process the material become gel or boil during the process, for preventing this problem and easily controlling the reaction, I have to add some amount of water which result in decrease of the quality of final product.
What’s the water role in this process since the viscosity of final product doesn't have any difference? What should I do?
(curing time: 4-5hr)
