I would like to know which is the residual cooling capacity of a counter flow cooling tower with high efficiency packing working 100% if the fan fails. a rough estimate (+/- 20%) is enough.

Kind regards

You will get a stack effect from delta T depending upon tower size and configuration and air DB temps. (air density hot - air density cold)/height of stack.

With the calculated stack effect, you can subtract the air pressure drop for tower fill. There will be a pressure difference and it will be small.

Leaving air will be saturated if the pump doesn't fail, too. There will be a latent and dry-bulb component to the capacity.

Hardly anything with that "high efficiecny" packing you have!

The stack effect would not be enough to overcome the resistance to airflow through the fills. The manufacturer can give you figures for air pressure drop at rated flow rates
