I'm not really sure this is the right place, but seems that it might be.

I'm looking for a blower (or whatever will do the job) to produces 23SCFM @ 3+" H2O in the 3/4" port (and the entire motor) of a 5PM shaker motor (50lbf @ <5000Hz). I would prefer DC powered from <48V, however if nescessary I can add a AC mains tap and dedicated outlet.

Thanks
Nick

Possibly, I was hoping to find a miniture version of those, needing only 23 or so CFM I wonder what effects I'm going to get from those. (or how to throttle tehm down so that the suspension resonance doesnt change, this is a HCF/VHCF test system)

I have a couple 12v centrifugal blowers, but only get ~1"h2o in the motor body, and ~2.7" at fully blocked flow.

I used to use shop air and an accumulator, now though I only have a 2hp oil-free dental grade air compressor, and dont wnat to kill it running 100% duty cycle.

I have found almost exactly what I need. Although thee seems to be only one manufacturer of this type of blower.

Ametek makes blowers that will hit the pressure/flow conditions that I need. They are called windjammer or minijammer blowers.

This is their webpage:

relatively expensive, but with only one manufacturer and only one distributor (Allied Electronics) thats the boat I'm in.
