What type of bolts/screws are best to use on containerised water treatment plant? I am planning to use M10 self tapping screws. Container floor is made of ply and 3mm Aluminium sheet.It is basically a small plant. samll pumps, 1000l tank , skid board , filter and el panel.Basically as it is going overseas by sea , Just need to secure it while in transport. Not worried once it is installed on site.

Are you building the container also? If so, that's a major consideration in itself.
I believe I have seen recommendations for container accelerations and the like. Google the topic, check especially on the railroad and shipping websites.
I would think you'd want it the whole container heavy enough it couldn't blow over, and design for whatever seismic forces you could possibly encounter.
The plywood doesn't sound too durable for water treatment facilities.
 
So you have an approved shipping container and you are concerned about fastening equipment, correct?
For shipping I would screw it down as planned, and then use timber to block everything so that if cannot move when the container gets turned over on its side. The forces on a container in transit are substantial, solid blocking is needed.

Shipping loads could be significant depending on your mode of transport. Skidding loads of standard transport road vehicles are ~0.8*g. In my area, railroad securement requires 3.0*g, which seems high until you witness how they "shunt" railcars around a railyard while putting a train together. Seafastening loads depend on the vessel, but I would bet that the ISO standard for shipping containers would also include a reference to the lateral accelerations anticipated.
 
Agree with EdStainless and IRStuff. Consider the transport. Those are the worst physical forces the unit will see....ever. Use vibration isolators and block everything as EdS noted.
