Containerised water treatment plant

Hi All,

I am not sure if it is correct forum for this question . However Currently we are working for a containerised water treatment plant which includes few filters ( weigh 1000kg ) and 1000L tanks and few pumps. Is there standard guidelines or advise for weigh distribution , pipe support and equipment installation ?

That kind of design info., design stds., etc. would most likely come from the mechanical people on the project. It would involve simplicity and efficiency of piping and the other equipment in the entire flow line. Things like convenient access for maintenance, inlet and outlet locations which could vary from one job to the next, convenience of filter servicing, etc. etc. should come into play. Much of this should be covered by mech. piping codes, water treatment plant stds. and the like. While there is some advantage to evenly distributed loading on the entire skid or system enclosure, from the transport and handling/lifting standpoint, the full 1000 liter tanks will far outweigh everything else, so the skids and final support locations get designed for the loads which the mech. system dictate, and which are seen during the various stages of handling and operation.

I presume that these will be shipped places.
You need to keep the containers reasonably balanced. There are shipping rules for this.
And things need to be braced and supported well enough to survive shipping.
Containers don't always get handled too gently. I don't know off hand what the max G force would be.
Start by looking at shipping and packaging guidelines.
