Hi,

We are experiencing peculiar problem at site, which is causing our process plant to trip.
Our plant has 2.3kV MCC where motor feeders uses the GE Limitamp Contactor (CR193V), which were retrofitted with Vacuum bottle in past. During retrofitting, Contactor Economizing Module (CEM) were used, which takes 110V AC control supply and then provide 20-25V DC supply to Contactor coil. These CEM modules fails every now and then, leading to plant shutdown as it feeds few of the very critical motors in our plant.

We had replaces these CEM modules in past with new ones but this doesn't help. We now seek some permanent solution for this.

We have used Diversified Electronics make CEM module (Part No. SP-0331) along with RC filter.

I would appreciate vey much if someone would share their experience or any advice about this.
