Dear All,
Thanks for your time and help.
I am analyzing two parts and they are at a distance/gap and they will come into contact once load being applied.
How can I use contact elements in this scenario?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Contact can be defined for surfaces that are not touching at the beginning of the analysis. You just have to make sure there are no rigid body motions if it’s a static analysis.

Thank you and I will keep you posted the update.
