Hello. I have a circuit boardmounted to abase plate. I want to constrain the board in the -z direction (toward the base plate), but allow it to flex away from the base plate in the +z direction. I am performing modal and random vibration analysis. I have tried mating the board to the baseplate and using fasteners. This allows the board to separate from the base platebutit alsocreates a contact surface between the board and base plate which allows the board to deflect thru the base plate in the -z direction. Any help would be appreciated.
