Connection of metal roof deck end lap

Due to the joist camber, the elevation of joist and top of adjacent wall (parallel to joist) is different.

So the metal roof deck between joist and wall will be a single span. (the span of deck is not totall horizontal)

There will be an end lap (2" overlap above the joist) between the single span deck and the rest of deck.

Since I am using the roof deck as a diaphragm, how do I need to detail the connection of end lap?

the typical connections of metal deck to joists is 36/4 pattern welds.

So should I put the welds along the overlap @ 12" OC?

Thanks.

Maybe I don't understand something, but I don't see how this is different than any of the other end laps on the diaphgram. Depending on your deck span, you may have to use a higher gage for gravity loads but that's it....
