Does anyone have experience in designing and/or qualifying CONFLAT flanges to ASME, Section VIII, Div. 1, requirements for positive pressure?

So CONFLAT is the product name!
It sounds like the flanges are not made to a "B16" type standard? These flanges are just evaluated with the pressure/temperature curves.

It seems like this flange could be evaluated with ASME Section VIII Div. 1 Appendix 2 procedure for nonstandard flanges.

However, if it's going to be used on an ASME vessel, then the material has to be a code material complete with documentation.

So, yes there is a way to evaluate it but then how will the flange be used?
