why is it that when i load a configuration file that i saved, my viewing area turns black.
this is not fun!!!!

Viewing area means graphics window?
Try to change the system colors to default.

the black viewing area meets to draw in my installation. Perhaps you saved the configuration in that environment so when you reload it cames to drawing colors
