I would like to be apple to apply more than 3 Conditional Formats to a range of cells. Specifically, I would like to be able to apply 1 of 5 different colours to a block of cells, depending on the contents of each cell. I can achieve 4 colours, by using one colour as the default format to all cells, then apply 3 Conditional Formats (giving 4 formats in total), but I can't find any way to go past this limit.

Does anyone know a way around this limit?

(Using Excel 2003 on Windows XP Pro)

As far as I know, you can only do that with VBA code.

Good Luck
