Hi,
Is Concrete Volute Pump better in terms of cost of civil works required to install it? Is its pumping station structure smaller in dimensions and specially depth?
Somebody told me that it is more cost effective than line shaft VT pumps.
On the other hand, I need some suggestions to make me avoid constructing costly seawater pumping station. I will be happy if there is a design doesn't need breakwater. The sea water pumping station is of 100,000 m3/hr capacity. It can be expanded to 400,000 m3/hr in the future.
I am not consultant or design engineer, I am end user or developer to be more accurate.
Kindly give some guidance in this regard.
Thank you in advance
Regards
