Concrete sealant from hydrocarbons

I am working on a project that requires a floor drain/trough in the concrete pad. I spoke with the Alberta EUB about it to make sure no leak detection or secondary contianment was required. I was advise that it was not, as long as it was sealed.

Does anyone have any suggestions of what type of sealant could be used? It will have to seal out water and hydrocarbons (blend oil). I googled and found some industrial sealants, but was wondering if anyone else has been in this situation and if they have any advise.

You might look at some hi build epoxy floor coatings...

We used a lot of Derakane products in pilot plant and around areas where we used solvent extraction.
I don't know which one we used but you might contact them for a recommendation for your application.

there are excellent epoxy paints that can be applied on damp concrete.check out with commercial paint manufacturers.
