Hi
it has been observed that the secondary edge beam twisted/buckled (approx 20mm) during construction. the beam is supporting metal decking with shear connectors @ 300mm centres. I understand that the metal deck will provide some sort of restraint to the top flange, but question is that: can one assume Fully laterally restraint and use steel section capacity?? if an intermediate restraint is required what would be a simple and cost effective solution?
Appreciate your help.
