Component pattern node

Greetings all!

Is it possible to hide component pattern node from the Assembly navigator in NX9, the same way we can hide Component groups, Constraints, etc?

That's not currently supported, nor is it available in NX 10.0. However, since we can, as you've already noted, hide the Constraint and Group 'nodes', we should probably be able to hide the Component Pattern 'node' as well. Therefore may I suggest that you contact GTAC and have them open an ER to that effect.
