Any shape can be created in solid works, provided you have all the dimensions.

Complex shapes
Another option would be to have a rock surface laser scanned and then imported as a parasolid file. You could then work with the data, scale it, section it out, etc... It would not be parametric but it gives you something to work with. We have done this with different "organic" objects. See the images below...
