Typically, in the oil and gas industry where we routinely work with SA-106 Grade B piping material we also routinely work with SA-516 plate. Grades 60 and 70 are typically used for pressure vessel construction and should be commonly available. The plate is often ordered as normalized depending on service conditions (minimum design temperature, sour service, etc.).
As rneill pointed out, 516 material would probably be the most common carbon steel plate in the vessel business, certainly the most common in the oil and gas world. SA-106B is a 35 ksi yield, 60 tensile material. To match yield, use SA516 grade 65. To match tensile, use SA516 grade 60. Section VIII-1 allowable tensile stresses match up with grade 60 up to and including 500°F.
