Columns and footing contact area

The column in the picture was removed intentionally. Four dowels were provided. It is obvious that the column was casted after the footing was hardened and the concrete of the footing is not integrated with the concrete of the column. does this cause any problem to the structure, because all other columns are of the same case and the slab and beams for the roof is to be constructed above these columns.

It is normal practice to cast columns after the footing concrete has hardened. It is difficult to read too much into the photograph without knowing how the demolition was carried out. Four dowels would suggest the column was not designed for maximum moment at the bottom.

BAretired,the demolishing was done by pushing the column by wheel loader.

I might be concerned that the footing has been rotated and the starter bars have been damaged by the column being knocked over in that manner. Not knowing more about the situation, I might insist on starting over by removing the footing.

Looks like a house concrete column very common in this area. Footing is normally a 900deepx400wide. Best to remove and start again.
