Hi,
I have got a metal plate of aluminuim with a hole in the centre. i want to put compressive residual stresses aroung the hole.
Therefore what I am doing so far is:
a non linear model.
after modelling I switch to the cylinderical co-ordinates CSYS,1. displace the nodes around the hole and rotate the nodes. finally get the solution.
In the next step I want to remove the some of the stresses in order to get final compressive residual stresses. But I dont know how can I do it? any help will be appreciated.
