code / standard for designing gear pump

Dear all,
I want to design a gear pump for the transfer of molten polymer. Can anybody tell the code / standard used for desiging of gear pump? the process conditions for the pump are as follows:
Suction pressure: atmospheric
Discharge pressure: 250 bar
Working temperature: 285 deg. C
Fluid: Polyethylene Terepathalatte (PET)

We have several hundred gear pumps pumping molten polymer at 285C and up to 3500 psig and none are designed to any code.
The smaller ones are the manufacture's design. On some of these pumps we make minor design changes based on the end us. All our higher capacity pumps, 150cc/rev to 1000 cc/rev are either a hybrid design or our in-house design for the 750cc/rev and the 1000cc/rev pumps. All our pumps are straight spur gears running a tolerance of 0.0005" gear to housing clearance. Our pump material is all D2 with some of the larger shafts made from Vasco Jet 1000. All our larger pumps have shaft bushings, made from the same material as the pump housing.
