Hi,

I would like to know if a 3" Class 300 flange will bolt up with no problems to a 3" Class 600 flange? I work for a Process and Pipeline Company in Canada and we are going to be purging (with Nitrogen) a line for a client.

Due to such short notice all we have is a Class 300 flange and the tie in point we are using is a Class 600 (both raised face). There is no pressure on the line and will not have any other then the back pressure from us pumping Nitrogen.

ASME B16.5 flanges, NPS 1/2 - 3 are identical flanges class 300, 400 and 600.
