Hello everyone. one project is comming for me and architect used CIP walls. I was going to use framing system with special shear wall systems for it but as I looked at the CIP walls details suddenly I thought maybe CIP walls could be used for the lateral and gravity desing for this project but I don't find any code or design guide that can refer to this system. really appreaciate it if you could help.
and wondering are these CIP walls are non structural walls or structural walls? and how we should desing them?

I assume you mean concrete insulated panels? If so, I've always been able to use them as shear walls and gravity supporting walls. Where I am, this is a delegated design item, so we usually reach out to a supplier early on once we know what sort of magnitude of loads we're dealing with to get some ideas of thicknesses of each section.

Where I am, we usually have 4"-5" thick inner wythes and a 3-4" outer wythe with 4" of insulation between them.

...or "Cast In Place" walls?
