Chloride as Carryover & H2S in gas and oil outlet lines

Chloride content in gas outlet of a Tank and Separator with multi-phase.

1) Should we consider same amount of chloride in Gas outlet as in the inlet line both in Tank and in a separator for material selection ?

2) for a multi-phase flow in a separator, should we consider same concentration or partial pressure of H2S in Gas, Oil and Water outlet as in the inlet phase for material selection ? Else advise.

Because they didn't change conditions, you should select the same material as inlet.
 
But the chloride content in a Gas Outlet of Tank woule be very low... If we consider the same chloride then the material for the entire downstream system would be very conservative which will add to the cost..
 
Can you say in how the chloride content in the outlet of tank will be low? what is the H2O mol% for the inlet and outlest? what is the H2S and CO2% for the inlet and outlet? What is the service?
 
This is a multiphase fluid. Gas outlet of tank shall have minimal water carryover.

H2O mol percent is supposedly 70 percent. however it is a general query. Not specific to some particular scenario.
 
I think answering will be difficult without knowing the temperature of tank outlet. Even though it is multiphase, won't there be a chance for condensation of vapours as it is with 70% of H2O? What is your opinion in this?

I am asking about the probability of internal condensation of vapour phase.
