I am looking for a chemical engine. The princpal is that a piston filled with gas ossilates between hot and cold plates without an explosion... Can you help me find any info.

Thanks....

Elroyjet, Still working at Spacely Sprockets eh? I think what you're looking for is an engine based on either the Stirling or Ericcson cycles. Actually, the engine isn't based on chemical principles but on thermodynamic ones. Do a web search on either of the above cycles you'll find more info than you'll ever need.

Hope this helps.
