Hi all,

I modeled a partin in SW 08 using inches. It was supposed to be in cm. Is there a way for me to change the units on the part and have it scale accordingly? Thanks,

Ben

If the part as it exists is to the correct scale, then all you need to do is to change the units (Tools > Options > Document Properties tab > Units). If you mistook metric values for English unit values then you could scale the part by 1/2.54 (.3937), but I don't particularly recommend it since scaling a part actually introduces a Scale feature. It's just not a very "clean" method, although it should work fine.

Change the unit to metric & again give all dimensions in cms.

It will be better.
