I currenty use Solid edge, I have been tasked with finding out how easy is the transition from Solid Edge to UG.

solid edge is owned bu UG. I think you can translate your solid models but not drafting into UG.

The whole menu structure is different, so it will take some time to learn.

Why does your company want to switch?
What kinds of products do you design?

"Wildfires are dangerous, hard to control, and economically catastrophic."

Thanks for the answers.
we manufacture customer designed parts, mainly supplied as UG models.
The main design is for fixtures & jigs for manufacture.
We want to incorperate UG CAM into the process to replace the current old system.
