Hello, I was wondering if it's possible to change the basic drawing properties for a bunch of pre-existing drawings. One of our customers has a lot of work done at another location and when we get sent back the parts that were made there, 9 times out of 10 the drawings (and models) are no where near 'correct', according to our customers specs.

everything from line colors, font types, font sizes, line fonts, monochrome display, 'show lone widths', etc.

Short of changing each and every part individuly, is there a way that we can do this in a 'batch' conversion, for lack of better words? It gets quite frustraing constantly 'correcting' a part before you even begin. We've talked about this on several occasions but it always seems to fall upon deaf ears. As of now, I probably spend at least 2 hours a week making all of these changes which could be better spent doing something more productive lol.

thanks

No, there is not a way to batch them but you should be able to write a macro to do what you want.

... are the files from India?

Thanks Jerry... that sounds like it may be the only way to go. They're actually being sent from Luxemburg, but I believe were originally created in Korea or China, depending on which project it's for.

thanks again for the quick reply
