I open a excel file which cell starts with big row numbers (1013, 1014, etc.). I checked it and did make sure there is no hide cells (using unhide) or any protection on the worksheet. Could anyone tell me how to change to the normal sheet starts from A1, A2,....?

A B C D .....
1013
1014
1015
1016
...

Suppose should be:
A B C D .....
1
2
3
4
...

Try unfreezing the pane..... Window -> Unfreeze Pane

To be safe, first copy the entire sheet to another sheet say sheet 2. Then on sheet 2 Delete rows 1 to 1012. If sheet 2 comes out to what you want, you can delete sheet 1.

Did you really select the entire sheet (Ctrl-A) before trying to unhide?

Cheers,
Joerd

You may not have hidden rows. Sometimes people hide rows using this method. You may have rows with zero height, so also try setting row height to a size which you can read (std = 8.43).

Joerd's suggestion will also apply to this method.
