Could you please get a native English speaker to rephrase that question for you?

it is posible lanch paracutists from one DC3 aicraft ?

and, it is posible do it from one L-188 Electra ? Thanks

DC-3 certainly, look up C-47 ... i think it was the main para. transport in WW2 ... you might need to install a static line, maybe a special door ... maybe remove one existing rear cargo door ?

Electra ... not sure this has been done before, which doesn't mean it can't be done

Like rb1957 say, just ask any of the 'band of brothers' about the DC-3. I'm confident a quick internet search would have got you this answer.

Not sure about L-188, check out the military Orion too when you do some Googleing.

Posting guidelines faq731-376 (probably not aimed specifically at you)

The USFS still utilizes two turbine modified DC-3s to parachute smokejumpers. You might check with them to see their FAA STC modification for it. Remember, for commercial use, aircraft must be certified for parachuting even though aircraft may have been previously used in that role.
As for L188, you might first check the FAA website and search under STC's and look for the Model L188 and see if there is an STC for parachuting. Good luck.

Yes, I jumped from a C-47 when I was a young Marine training to be a parachute rigger at Lakehurst New Jersy sometime in 73-74.

Our jumps were not static line (even the first time), we went out in a tuck position. Considering how things are today in the world of sport parachuting, it was a very unique experience.

We were learning to pack chutes for ejection seats. Part of the training was to pack and jump our own chute one time.

One worry the instructors talked about was folks opening the chute before they got out the door of the airplane. If your chute hooked on something in the airplane they could let it loose. But if it somehow hung up on the horizontal stab and it was dragging you along, there might not be any way to land the plane without doing you in.

In our case, we had the quick release fittings taped closed so they couldn't be released. Apparently some knucklehead fiddled with his and released the canopy at 300 feet. So the policy was to tape ours with black electircal tape.

There was also story of a cheif that went out and did a double salute, but was caught by some freak updraft and killed when his head hit the horizontal stab.

So mauch for old stories. Thanks for asking the question.
