Cantilever beam modeling

Hi, this might be a very basic question but I can't solve it.

I'm having problems in getting the same results with different models, first I modeled a cantilever beam using a 3D deformable wire model, it is attached on one end with a step force on the other, the result I get is as expected, the tip displaces and at some point bounces back a little.
Now I need to attach a PZT on top of the beam so first I tried modeling only the beam using a 3D deformable solid with the exact same material, loads and BC's but the displacement I am getting now is only continuous, it does not return at any point.

Does anyone know why is that? since I need to attach the pzt to the beam, I need to make the 3D solid behave like the wire one.

the beam is a small steel part 300x15x1mm,

I appreciate any help or tip you can give me.

Having small differences in the behaviour of the results with different models is usual. I do not understand exactly what kind of analysis your are trying. Is it dynamic or static, could you explain a little bit mor? I do not know what is a pzt, could you please explain a little more.
 
Thank you for your answer, a PZT is a piezoelectric sensor from which I need to get the voltage according to the beam bending. I have modeled the beam using a wire model since I can't find beam elements for a 3D deformable solid. Then I used a 3D deformable solid to model the sensor. Now I have a wire and a solid in the same Model. But I am facing a new problem, I got an error saying that THREE FACTORIZATIONS IN A ROW FAILED, but when I change the material of the PZT as if it were steel, it works fine but if I try to change it back to a piezo material, it doesn't work. I am running 2 steps, frequency and modal dynamics. I used a tie constrain, nodal to surface to attach the wire beam to the deformable solid PZT. Is there any other considerations when attaching 2 different materials?
